Eating out with your independent high end London escort

It’s well and truly Autumn in London now. Wet leaves on the ground, dark in the mornings, rather grey skies and the forecast of a cold winter ahead. I’ve not spent a full winter in England for the last 23 years, having lived in Australia, the USA, and France. I’ll get through this one by making my way through a list of great London restaurants.

Ham Yard in SoHo was lovely for a late summer brunch with some ladies of Twitter, Mia Dixion, Ava Green and Aimee Rose.  We sat outside in their shady courtyard and the champagne flowed. I suspect we gave our fellow diners something to talk about later. The brunch menu was extensive and everything tasted great.

Berners Tavern was a favourite so far this year. Set in an impressive, high ceiling room in Ian Schrager’s London Edition Hotel, the food was modern British at its finest. Inventive, hearty and interesting and the company of my gentleman made it all the finer. Edition Hotel is one of my favourites. It’s funky but still retains old school luxury and glamour. In my room they’d left some signature dessert on a slate board which I nibbled for breakfast being the health freak that I am!

High on my wishlist before Christmas is the contemporary Charlie’s Bistro set in Browns Hotel in Mayfair. Crisp white tablecloths, marble, and antique wood complete the old school setting.

A place I’ve wanted to make time to go, and hope to get a date in next year, is Pied-a-Terre in Mayfair. This institution regularly garners excellent reviews and has an inventive and exciting menu both for its set price lunch with matching wines, and dinner. I believe it’s an intimate dining experience which is ideal to get to know someone.  There’s nothing a high class independent London escort likes better than a date with food and the capital has some of the finest offerings of anywhere around the world that I’ve eaten. Pied-a-Terre

Of course, it’s not all Michelin that makes my stomach happy. One of the stalwarts of the London dining scene if a good steak is your speed is Goodmans in Mayfair. I’ve eaten here a couple of times across the winter and the food and atmosphere and service never disappoint. American gents seem to love it because it’s rather like a British version of a high end New York steak house.

I had the first experience in Five Guys near Covent Garden with a client a couple of months ago.Can you beat a well-made burger, crispy fries, and ketchup before a theatre outing? Even the chain Wagamama does some great food for relaxed and casual lunch date dining. It has a good selection of vegan options among its Asian inspired menu treats, and service is fast and friendly.

Winter food is the best thing about the season. Hearty stews and soups, baked potatoes and steak, rich gravy and roast beef. Bring it on! It’s a good guard against the inevitable grey and damp winter blues to get out and about in London with an independent high end London escort at your side and enjoy the tastes and sights London has to offer.
